Having brushed aside the screening force, the 21st reached the town of Sbeitla on the evening of the 16th.
Objectives: Your company is part of the Kampfgruppe (Battlegroup) that is tasked with eliminating the enemy presence from the village. While part of the Kampfgruppe make a frontal probe, your platoon will move north from its deployment area to just west of the village, then turn east and cross the bridge into town. Destroy any enemy that threaten you, but it is imperative that all enemy antitank emplacements and vehicles are eliminated. Air support should be available, and your platoon will be supported in its attack by two Sturmgeschutz sections deployed along the road to the west of the village.
